Chateau de Versailles

Commissioned work. Rough rendered in Photoshop, final painted in acrylic on board 24x48". Client requested 'lots of gold' showing the opulence of the building with Louis 14th prominent in the foreground and wasn't concerned with accuracy.

Le pont Saint-Bénézet, or Pont D'Avingon

Pencil 8x10", sketched on my first backpacking adventure through Europe. I visited this town simply because we learned the song 'Sous le pont D'Avingnon' when I was small. So worth it.
